Trees provide humans and other creatures with a valuable array of benefits.  These include food and shelter as well as medicine and inspiration. "Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky ..." Kahlil Gibran..

Humans have not always reciprocated.  By felling trees, we have caused enormous damage, including:

  • erosion and flooding;
  • increased greenhouse gasses;
  • dryland salinity and soil depletion;
  • loss of habitat;
  • less pollinating insects for farmers;
  • climate change in far-off regions.

Our objective is to help protect what is left of forests and other natural settings, to restore forests, and to reverse damage caused by deforestation.

Our activities are funded by donations and by our parent company, foreseechange.

Dedicated to the once and future symbiotic relationship between humans and trees
