Our Work

Our activities in 2007 included:

an offset of 5.0 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions by tree planting supplied by climate positive
an offset of 3.0 tonnes of carbon by forestry and revegetation supplied by Neco
An offset of 3.0 tonnes of carbon by renewable energy certificates from wind power supplied by Neco
An offset of 3.4 tonnes of carbon by solar renewable energy certificates supplied by Todae
An offset of 4.4 tonnes of carbon by tree planting supplied by Greenfleet
Establishing a one hectare timber plantation in order to reduce the need to harvest from precious forests (through Timbercorp)

Our work towards healing forests has three components:

Planting trees to provide food and shelter for animals, food for human stomachs and souls, and for other environmental benefits. These trees are planted for the long term and soak up carbon dioxide. See photos below for trees we have planted on what was a cleared 3 acre block at Nagambie, Victoria, Australia. We also donate money to other tree planting operations.
Buying renewable energy certificates and installing solar panels to further offset carbon emmissions.
Conducting research into environmental issues, especially global warming.
